We’ve heard many stories from coworkers about what it’s like to be on the receiving side of patient care. Here’s another story from our lab director Kathy Smith on a recent experience she had.
Normally I see KSB from the employee side. On November 7th I got to see it as a patient. The experience was amazing, and I can see why we have received the awards we have. From Day Surgery to the OR to 3 Med Surg everyone took such good care of me. I can’t say enough positive things about the staff, they were professional, caring, prompt in answering questions, in responding to call lights, and almost seemed to anticipate my needs. There was no one that I encountered that I could say anything negative about. I wish I could say thank you to every individual who interacted with me during this experience.
We are fortunate to have such a great staff.
