It’s the people. That’s the tagline that KSB hospital employees have a long-standing reputation for throughout the many communities we serve. KSB cares not only about our community and our patients but also about their employees and the relationships we have with each other. As part of this camaraderie, we hosted our first annual KSB Employee Appreciation night at the Dixon High School boys’ basketball game on Friday, January 22nd. More than 30 employees and their family came together to support our local community activities in unison as the Dixon Dukes took the Byron Tigers in a score of 47 to 43.

When you think about the fact that we are at work with our fellow co-workers more hours than we are with our family, it’s even more important to recognize the importance of solidifying our relationships.  “It is great to see everyone with their families and having so much fun.  I also love the opportunity to support our student-athletes.  KSB has a superb relationship with all the schools in our service area,” said Dave Schreiner, KSB Hospital President & CEO.

For this first-time event, we had a great turnout. We want to mark these moments. Our co-workers are an extension of our family, and we want to document the journey. Look for our upcoming events and join us – and snap a pic with #KSBCares.
