One of the challenges of a leader is the communication of information. What is important? What is the best medium to use to share information? How much detail do people want? How should the message be delivered?
According to a study performed by Constantinidou & Baker in 2002 titled Brain and Language, there are three kinds of learners: Visual, auditory and kinesthetic (learn by moving).
My challenge is to present key information in ways that respect all three learning types. This is easier said than done, however I have learned that presentation often matters almost as much as content.
Let’s see if I can get the members of today’s finance committee up and moving!
