Giving patients a personal touch – it’s a message ingrained in the staff from the start at Katherine Shaw Bethea (KSB) Hospital in Dixon, Ill.
“Taking a personal approach is one of the first things we address in employee orientation,” claims David Schreiner, president and CEO. From the time a patient enters the hospital, the staff will ensure each patient receives individual contact. “We make sure each patient is guided through their treatment process by a member of our staff,” he says.
